Artha

AI-powered rating platform that helps investors discover and evaluate cooperatives in Indonesia. Built for the Hackathon Digital Cooperatives Expo 2026 by Kemenkop RI — features a 5-dimension AI scoring system, interactive commodity map, Credit Passport for deep financial evaluation, and an escrow-based marketplace for agricultural supply procurement.

I built Artha for the Hackathon Digital Cooperatives Expo 2026 — a national competition organized by the Ministry of Cooperatives of Indonesia (Kemenkop RI) and PEBS FEB Universitas Indonesia to build digital solutions that modernize Indonesia's cooperative ecosystem. Indonesia's cooperative sector holds massive investment potential: 691+ cooperatives, 47,000+ members, but the data was scattered, evaluations were manual, and most investors couldn't find the right opportunities. The problem wasn't a lack of good cooperatives; it was a lack of transparency and accessible analysis. So I built a platform that combines AI-driven evaluation with interactive data visualization, all pulled from the Ministry of Cooperatives & SMEs database.

The core of the platform is a 5-dimension AI scoring system that evaluates every cooperative across Financial health (30%), Member engagement (25%), Commodity potential (20%), RAT governance (15%), and Legal compliance (10%). Each dimension has its own sub-metrics — solvability, liquidity, NPL for Financial; member count and savings for Member; area, volume, and market value for Commodity — weighted into a single composite score from 0 to 100. The breakdown is transparent: investors can see exactly why a cooperative scored what it did.

The interactive map was the most technically interesting piece. I used Leaflet with OpenStreetMap tiles to plot commodity distribution per province, letting users visualize where the best opportunities are geographically. The dashboard shows real-time aggregates: average AI score of 50.9, grade distribution (7 Grade A, 175 Grade B, 350 Grade C, 159 Grade D), and top cooperatives by score. The credit passport feature takes it further — each cooperative gets a detailed financial health report with AI-generated investment recommendations.

Coop Trade was the feature I'm most proud of. It's an escrow-based marketplace where investors can fund cooperatives to buy agricultural supplies — fertilizer, seeds, pesticides, tools — but the money goes directly to verified distributors, never to the cooperative's bank account. This eliminates the fraud risk that plagues traditional cooperative financing. Each transaction is recorded on a blockchain escrow, creating an auditable trail. The zero-fraud guarantee isn't just marketing — it's baked into the architecture.
